Here in Arizona and across America, countless people suffer in silence from addiction and mental health issues. These people are more than statistics. They are parents trying to put food on the table. They are individuals struggling to find stable housing who are forced to live on the streets. They might be young adults who don’t know how to reach out for help who find themselves slipping through the cracks. Or they may be experiencing domestic abuse or violence at home. They might be grandparents faced with difficult challenges as they age. Without qualified, unbiased, and dedicated help, it can be extremely hard for these folks to find their way to healing. We founded Healvine to fill gaps in support for people experiencing mental health challenges and addiction here in Maricopa County and statewide. Our nonprofit initiative exists to support adults struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, suicidal ideation, and drug abuse through our therapeutic behavioral health residential facilities.
Based in Arizona, our behavioral health-supportive home provides room and board to qualifying participants 18 years of age or older. In our facilities, we help our clients acquire daily living skills, monitor at-risk behaviors, assist in the self-administration of medication and coordinate transportation to scheduled appointments as part of their treatment regimen. We work in tandem with other service providers to offer feedback based on an individual’s unique challenges, opportunities and need for additional behavioral health services to case managers and other members of a person’s care team
At Healvine, we know it takes a strong network of compassionate and nonjudgmental champions to empower a vulnerable person to find lasting recovery. We hope to build that network for people struggling with mental health and addiction challenges across Maricopa County and statewide as we guide them to lasting recovery.
